Coca-Cola - Stranger Things

Coca-Cola as a brand sits at the heart of Stranger Things. This was catalysed when the character Eleven's telekinetic training in the lab insisted she must crush a can just using the power of her mind. Netflix went on to seed Coca-Cola in subsequent seasons. So it felt only right for me to bring them into the heart of my immersive show.

  • Coca-Cola sponsored our "Palace" Arcade area in Starcourt Mall 
  • Featured all the key and most fun arcade games from 1985 ... 
  • .... and specifically the games named in TV show
  • The Palace Arcade served coke floats in homage to the show story
  • Hosted by uber-nerd character Keith, bringing to life key scenes and narrative
  • We designed a paranormal experience around a coke machine which gets "stuck" 
  • Eleven supernaturally freed the product stunning the audience with a free taste of coke
  • In our hero sequence in The Void finale we staged another illusion of the flying coke can. 
  • This elaborate illusion brought the audience into the heart of the climax 
  • This involved rigging a coke can based illusion in front of 1200 audience where collectively we connect our energies to revive Eleven's super powers
